چکیده
Until recently, there were rare scientific reports on the biotechnological potential of non-pathogenic bacteria Acinetobacter genus. Although first about practically valuable properties these date back to 70s and 80s twentieth century concerned synthesis emulsan bioemulsifier. In last decade, interest in representatives genus as objects biotechnology has significantly increased. The review presents current literature data by this high-molecular emulsifiers, low-molecular biosurfactants glyco- aminolipid nature, enzymes (lipase, agarase, chondroitinase), phytohormones, well their ability solubilize phosphates decompose various xenobiotics (aliphatic aromatic hydrocarbons, pesticides, insecticides). Prospects for practical application metabolites synthesized them environmental technologies, agriculture, industries medicine are discussed. own experimental studies biological activity (antimicrobial, anti-adhesive, destroy biofilms) A. calcoaceticus IMV B-7241 strain role degradation oil pollutants, including complex ones with heavy metals, presented. simultaneous phytohormones (auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins) antimicrobial against phytopathogenic allows us consider promising use crop production increase yields.

Biotechnological potential of Clostridium butyricum bacteria
In response to demand from industry for microorganisms with auspicious biotechnological potential, a worldwide interest has developed in bacteria and fungi isolation. Microorganisms of interesting metabolic properties include non-pathogenic bacteria of the genus Clostridium, particularly C. acetobutylicum, C. butyricum and C. pasteurianum. A well-known property of C. butyricum is their ability ...
متن کاملThe genus Weissella: taxonomy, ecology and biotechnological potential
Bacteria assigned to the genus Weissella are Gram-positive, catalase-negative, non-endospore forming cells with coccoid or rod-shaped morphology (Collins et al., 1993; Björkroth et al., 2009, 2014) and belong to the group of bacteria generally known as lactic acid bacteria. Phylogenetically, the Weissella belong to the Firmicutes, class Bacilli, order Lactobacillales and family Leuconostocaceae...
متن کاملBiotechnological potential of marine sponges
Marine sponges (Porifera) have attracted significant attention from various scientific disciplines. Remarkable traces, left by sponges in the fossil records have been studied by paleontologists and evolutionary biologists. As sponges produce various novel chemical molecules, they have been a goldmine to chemists and also found their way into biotechnological applications. Microbiologists became...
متن کاملPolyploidization Facilitates Biotechnological In Vitro Techniques in the Genus Cucumis
Prezygotic interspecific crossability barrier in the genus Cucumis is related to the ploidy level of the species (cucumber (C. sativus), x = 7; muskmelon (C. melo) and wild Cucumis species, x = 12). Polyploidization of maternal plants helps hybridization among other Cucumis species by overcoming prezygotic genetic barriers. The main objective of this paper is to compare the results of several m...
متن کاملHolins in bacteria, eukaryotes, and archaea: multifunctional xenologues with potential biotechnological and biomedical applications.
Holins form pores in the cytoplasmic membranes of bacteria for the primary purpose of releasing endolysins that hydrolyze the cell wall and induce cell death. Holins are encoded within bacteriophage genomes, where they promote cell lysis for virion release, and within bacterial genomes, where they serve a diversity of potential or established functions. These include (i) release of gene transfe...
